Submission Preparation Checklist

Thank you for your interest in submitting your manuscript to Current Reviews in Clinical and Surgical Pediatrics for editing and publication consideration.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Systematic Review

Comprehensive evaluations of existing clinical or surgical literature following PRISMA guidelines. (Word count: up to 5,000 words, excluding abstract/references).

Narrative/State-of-the-Art Review

Authoritative overviews of specific clinical challenges, diagnostic advancements, or surgical techniques written by established experts. (Word count: up to 4,500 words)

Mini-Review

Concise, focused updates on rapidly evolving specific topics or novel surgical technologies. (Word count: up to 2,500 words).

Clinical Commentary

Invited or unsolicited expert opinions on current debates, policy statements, or newly published clinical trials. (Word count: up to 1,500 words).
